About the products

The systems Josefin works with

All products on this page come from the Japanese manufacturer Enagic, and Josefin is an Enagic distributor.

There is no web shop and there are no prices here. The page shows what the systems are and how they differ – in an introductory meeting, Josefin goes through which one suits your questions and circumstances.

LeveLuk K8

One machine for many uses in everyday life.

LeveLuk K8 produces five different types of electrolyzed water within a pH range of about 2.5–11.5 – water for drinking and cooking, for beauty care and for cleaning, all from the same machine. Tap water is filtered first and then passes through the electrolysis cell.

The K8 is made in Japan and uses eight platinum-coated titanium plates in its electrolysis cell. It also has a touchscreen, voice guidance and automatic self-cleaning.

  • Five water types, pH approx. 2.5–11.5
  • Filtration followed by electrolysis
  • 8 platinum-coated titanium plates
  • Touchscreen with voice guidance
  • Automatic self-cleaning
  • Made in Japan

LeveLuk K8

Five waters, five purposes

From strongly acidic to strongly alkaline – this is how Enagic describes the five water types the K8 produces and what they are used for.

  1. pH 2.5 or lower

    Strong acidic water

    For cleaning surfaces.

    Not intended for drinking

  2. pH approx. 6.0

    Beauty water

Slightly acidic water for gentle cleaning and beauty care.

    Not intended for drinking

  3. pH approx. 7.0

    Clean water

    Neutral, filtered water.

  4. pH 8.5–9.5

    Kangen Water

Alkaline water with dissolved molecular hydrogen, intended for drinking and cooking.

  5. pH 11.0 or higher

    Strong Kangen Water

    For heavier cleaning.

    Not intended for drinking

Kangen Water is Enagic’s name for the alkaline water from the machine – what we call Electrolyzed Reduced Water on the ERW page. It is produced by electrolysis and, according to Enagic, has a higher pH, dissolved molecular hydrogen and a negative ORP (redox potential). That describes how the water is produced, not any health effect.

LeveLuk SD501 Platinum

The Platinum model – a modern design for the home, with a large LCD panel and clear voice prompts.

The SD501 Platinum is fully equipped with a built-in electrolysis chamber, a large LCD panel and clear voice prompts. The electrolysis chamber consists of 7 platinum-coated titanium plates.

The Platinum model has a modern design for the home and produces five different types of electrolyzed water: Strong Kangen Water, Kangen Water, clean (neutral) water, beauty water and strong acidic water – the same five water types described under the LeveLuk K8 above.

  • 7 platinum-coated titanium plates in the electrolysis chamber
  • Five water types, pH 2.5–11.5
  • Large LCD panel with voice prompts in five languages
  • Automatic cleaning

ANESPA DX by Enagic, a stainless-steel shower and bath system with shower hose and shower head

Shower & bath · Enagic

ANESPA DX

A home spa system for the shower and the bath.

ANESPA DX is a shower and bath system by Enagic. Tap water is filtered through a ceramic cartridge, and the system uses mineral materials as part of the filtration. Enagic describes the ANESPA DX as a home spa system, designed for a spa-like experience in the shower or the bath.

Filtration takes place in two stages, with layers of activated carbon and Futamata ceramic. According to Enagic, the cartridge filters chlorine and other substances from tap water and adds natural minerals. The mineral material consists of tufa from a hot spring in Futamata on Hokkaido, Japan, and of Maifan stone.

In the DX model the ceramic cartridge is larger, with more ceramic balls, and the base has been redesigned for more efficient filter replacement.

  • For the shower and the bath
  • Two-stage filtration: activated carbon and Futamata ceramic
  • Filters chlorine and other substances – according to Enagic

Ultra-E

Ultra-E is a pre-filter by Enagic – a submicron depth filter. According to Enagic, the filter media is made with a patented, electroadsorptive technology and can remove submicron pathogens and inorganic contaminants through electro-adhesion and ion exchange. The media consists of coated micro-glass fibres.

One filter lasts for up to 1,500 gallons of water (about 5,700 litres), Enagic states. The filter media – not the filter as a whole – is NSF 61-approved according to Enagic (Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects), a standard for materials in contact with drinking water, not for filtration performance.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions about the products

Can I buy the products here on the website?

No, there is no web shop here. If you would like to know more about a system or a product, get in touch with Josefin or book an introductory meeting.

Why are there no prices on this page?

Josefin prefers to go through the systems personally, based on your questions and circumstances. Ask her directly if you would like to know more.

What is the difference between the LeveLuk K8 and the LeveLuk SD501 Platinum?

Both filter the water and separate it by electrolysis into the same five water types. The K8 has 8 platinum-coated titanium plates in the electrolysis chamber and a touchscreen; the SD501 Platinum has 7 plates and an LCD panel with buttons. Both have voice prompts.

Do the products have health effects?

We describe the technology and the products – not health effects. The only exception is the UKON Sigma food supplement, where we give authorised EU health claims for niacin. You are welcome to read the section About health and research on the Electrolyzed Reduced Water page.
